Blog: Daly
I just try to learn the Dutch language and that makes the difference
My name is Daly, I am 35 years old. I come from Tunisia. I have been living in Terneuzen for almost four years. I completed my training as a care assistant plus care and welfare. I work as a caregiver in a nursing home with elderly people with dementia and psychological problems.
I enjoy living here. Terneuzen and Flanders are peaceful places for people who love tranquility. People are also friendly. What makes it easier is learning the language. Language is important to build a connection with people and to develop yourself. As a foreigner, I find Dutch a difficult language. I just try to learn the language and that makes the difference.
I came to live in Terneuzen for love. My hobbies are varied; I would like to play sports from time to time. I go for walks in nature. And I take photos of everything around me that is beautiful. I love photography. I socialize with people and enjoy all the arts (theater, music, festivals...). And not to forget: I love exchanging languages. I speak French and English fluently. Arabic is my mother tongue, and of course, I am getting better and better at Dutch.
