Why OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen?
OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen is an important network organization for Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, where various parties involved in the livability of our region consult with each other on multiple levels. We keep each other informed about what is happening in the area in which we as an organization are active. In addition, we look for opportunities to build bridges between different parties and to work together on certain projects. This way, we can combine our strengths, prevent fragmentation, and together put our region even more powerfully on the map!
What does the OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen network mean to you?
OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen is an important partner for Rootzz, with whom we collaborate a lot. The goals we pursue with our activities are the same, which is why we like to work together on projects. In terms of support and platform, Onbegrensd makes a significant contribution to a number of projects that we develop with Rootzz to engage and retain young people in our region. So for us at Rootzz, a very important and super valuable collaboration partner!
What do you think are the unlimited possibilities of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen?
I was once a student who left Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and thought I would never return. As a young person, I had no idea about the opportunities and possibilities in the region to develop myself both in terms of career and in other areas. When I eventually did return and started working at an employment agency where lots of great vacancies for young professionals at amazing companies came by, it was an eye opener. Now, 15 years later, I know very well that Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has so much to offer in many different ways.
How do you see your role and ambition within OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen?
During the meetings, I always give an update on developments within Rootzz. That can be about events we've had or those that are coming up, but it can also be issues where the network actively thinks along about solutions. I think it is important within OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen to seek collaboration with other members of the network as much as possible and to combine forces wherever possible. Together you achieve more than alone!
What do you think is important for Zeeuws-Vlaanderen?
I think it is important to be proud of our region and to show it. Our region may not meet everyone's wishes, but I think it is important that for those who are looking for what Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has to offer, our region is definitely on their radar. And in this, we are all very important ambassadors who, with pride and passion for our region, can together ensure that our region is truly seen and represented.
Why should people come to Zeeuws-Vlaanderen?
Of course, I could mention the space, tranquility, and other well-known aspects. But what I personally find truly unique about Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is the sense of togetherness, passion, and pride in our region.
Rootzz Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is a network organization for and by young professionals, focusing on living, working, and experiencing life in our unique region. We focus on inspiring young professionals about the beauty and many opportunities of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, regardless of where they currently live in the Netherlands.
We organize numerous activities, ranging from informal gatherings to large events such as Roetsj, to connect young people with companies, governments, and the wonderful lifestyle of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen residents. Our mission is to bring together young people, companies, and the government. We organize a journey of discovery through the beautiful Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, highlighting the many opportunities this region offers in terms of living, working, and experiencing life.
